The Inventory/Stocking Lead position coordinates and supervises activities related to stocking and replenishing products sold by the company by performing the duties outlined below. This individual will provide leadership and guidance to all inventory control associates. The inventory/down stocking Lead carries out plans and helps with organizing the team’s activities and monitors associates’ performance. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Refills empty bins and keeps all bins filled for shipping associates to maintain appropriate products inventory level.
Reports mislabeled bins and out of stock products to lead/supervisor.
Stocks Shelves and helps pickers find products using their order/pick list.
Bends, kneels, squats, reaches frequently to organize, arrange, lift products to shelves on a consistent basis.
Scans every bin on every shelf within your designated aisle.
Finds inventory discrepancies, location errors and corrects as necessary.
Ensures that all products in your designated aisle are properly labeled and stocked; ensures aisle is organized and clean.
Maintains aisles by following established sorting and stocking guidelines.
Skills & Experience
HS Diploma or GED and one year of factory- or warehouse-related experience in receiving and stocking
Experience with inventory management systems and Ecommerce platform.
Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office experience is required.
Must be able to use warehouse equipment such ladders, cutting tools, etc.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch and climb ladders, all day.
Must be able to lift and move items over 60 pounds.
Good Time Management skills
Organization and follow up skills
Good communication skills and sense of urgency
Problem-solving skills and thoroughness.
Ability to follow directions
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.
