Looking for one person, male or female, to share a condo. Must be clean and a non-smoker with no drug use. This is a peaceful, drama-free home shared by an adult professional. If you thrive on drama, this won’t be a good fit for us as roommates.
This is a very nice, newer building with brick exterior, high ceilings, wood floors, tile in the bathroom, large kitchen, island, three bar stools, fireplace, dining area with a table and six chairs, or you can sit at the island.
Nice size L couch to relax and read a book or enjoy the fireplace in the wintertime.
The current roommate is moving out at the end of their lease agreement in July 2026.
After 60 days they will be moving out at the end of Aug. SEPT 1st. 2026 or later you
can move in.
The bedroom and private bathroom will become available after they move out. I will have both the bedroom and bathroom professionally cleaned, walls painted, and any necessary fixes or repairs done. This is TBD.
The condo unit is very nicely laid out with both bedrooms at opposite ends of the unit, so no worrying sharing walls with one another. The bedroom is approximately 12' x 12' in size, with a large closet space about 3' x 9'. The bathroom is around 5' x 10' with a very large closet for all your storage needs, along with cabinets, sink, toilet, nice tub/shower.
Looking for someone willing to rent for 12 to 24 months or so. If we work well as roommates, I don't mind signing a new lease with you for more years. Each year, you will get a new lease to review and decide if you want to renew or not. If not, you would have to give me 60 days' notice to vacate the unit during the spring/summer only. I do not allow wintertime move-ins or move-outs.
RENT: $331.25 per week per person, or $1325.00 total in rent per month per person, not including gas and electric, which will be split 50/50, along with any other shared expenses in the common spaces. WiFi is $70 each month, or $35 per person if access is desired.
The lease is month-to-month for the first three months to evaluate compatibility as roommates. If all goes well, the lease will automatically continue for the remainder of the year 12 months, there will be a possible option to review for another year if we both find that living together works or not, if not, you will receive a 60 days' notice to vacate or you can give yours if not given. If at any time the lease agreement is violated or rent is not paid, you will be asked to leave and receive a notice to vacate the unit within 30 days. If you still do not move out, locks will be changed, and your belongings will be placed outside on the curb or by the trash.
Background checks are conducted. You must be able to show proof of income, 3 to 6 months of payment history from work, and be able to make 2 X to 3X times your total rent of $1325 per month which is best. Stable employment is a must. If you tend to move from job to job or work remotely do not apply to live here. This is a clean and professional adult household and will not tolerate any drama here or instability.
