About me:
I'm a lawyer who loves cooking, travel, and the gym every evening. I'm am obsessive for keeping the house clean, respectful, and social guy who enjoys a good conversation but also values my alone time. If I am not traveling for work, I will work from home on zoom calls constantly so I'm looking for someone who would rarely be at home M-F during the hours from 8 to 5. I am usually in bed no later than 11pm as I have to be online at 8am everyday. I am married but I split time between houses as my son lives in Chicago and my husband works in Houston. He will only occasionally come to Chicago.
About the apartment:
• Rent: 950 per month which includes : ALL utilities, normal use of the washer and dryer, high speed wifi, and monthly maid service on the first Tuesday of every month
• Location: 3 blocks from the Jefferson park CTA /Metra and bus transit hub, with great restaurants nearby
• Features: 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and in-unit washer/dryer. You will have 1 of the bedrooms that has a really comfortable queen size bed. I have the other bedroom and the 3rd bedroom is an office/spare which is for my teenage son to use from time to time when he wants to see Dad.
About you:
You're an LGBTQ+ friendly professional, who is financially stable with a credit score over 725 and has a positive attitude. You're respectful of others' space and won't wear shoes in the house and you are also obsessed with keeping the place spotless. If you are a flight attendant I will give a discount on the monthly rent. You will not be a smoker, use drugs, vape, have a pet , or have people staying more than the occasional overnight. (I want one roommate not 2!) You usually head to bed early and don’t have parties or more than the occasional guest on the weekend. You also won’t be bringing any furniture, or personal household items as I have brand new everything in the house. Please leave your stuff in storage. You basically bring what you would to a hotel. At this price I want you to just bring you and your clothes and leave your furniture and stuff in storage. I will be buying a new dresser and nightstand for your room and any other items of furniture or kitchen stuff you may need. Consider this a fully furnished corporate apartment. If I don’t have something that you are looking for I can easily buy something that suits both my taste and your need. Sorry if this rubs you the wrong way but I don’t like my house stuffed with other peoples items.

Your lease will be auto renewed month to month until June 2026. By then if we get along then I will be open to a 1 or 2 year lease. You will have to pass an FBI background check, credit check, and a search for any evictions. The process of applying costs 50 dollars but I will pay you back the fee if you pass.
