Hi all. My roommate and I are looking for a male roommate to move into this awesome apartment starting January 1st. You will be taking over our roommate’s lease which goes until July 31st, 2026.
This apartment is a very nice, comfortable place to live and is perfect for a graduate/medical/nursing student or a young working professional since we are so close to the IMD. Landlord and property manager are good and friendly. Rent and utilities (Electricity, Gas, and Internet) are separate. The utilities will come out to about $75 per month for each roommate. So the total rent will be about $875 a month.
The bedroom you would be renting is a medium sized room with great closet space and lot of natural lights. A full or queen size bed can comfortably fit in the room. You’ll also have a bathroom that’ll be mostly yours to use. Sometimes one of us will have to use it if the other bathroom is occupied.
This apartment is walking distance to UIC/Rush, the blue and pink line, and several convenient bus routes (#49, #157, #12, #7, and #50). Apartment is on a nice, quiet street. There are several dining options nearby (Chipotle, Pita Pita, Jimmy John, Panda Express, Starbucks, Bacci, and Taco Pros).
About us:
Roommate #1: I am in my early thirties and graduated from UIC with a MPH. I work in the Gold Coast area and occasionally work from home. I am a clean roommate and I try to be considerate of my roommates and make sure the kitchen and bathrooms are clean. I also have two cats that are house trained. So if you are interested, you must be okay with a cat in the apartment. They are very affectionate and enjoy getting attention. I have lived here for eight years and it's been nice.
Roommate #2: He is in late twenties and is currently working for a 3D Printing company downtown. He also tends to stay in his room most of the time when he is home. He also makes sure to keep the apartment clean. He's lived here for three years and he has been a great roommate!
We would like to have a roommate that is in his 20s or 30s, is a student/incoming student or a young working professional, quiet, clean, considerate and drama free.
This apartment is a LGBTQ friendly space.
No smoking is allowed in the apartment.
Feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions about the apartment or if you would like to set up a viewing.
