Let's dive in! I am drama-free and looking for the same in a roommate. A little about me: no kids, don't smoke, and very OCD clean. I am seeking a roommate who is also clean, does not smoke, has no kids, is drama-free, pays their bills on time, and is willing to share in the monthly bills that have increased over the years.
Your weekly rent would be (approx.) $331.25, amounting to a monthly rent of $1325. Not including sharded bills, like as Gas/Electric/Wi-Fi, filters, or anything else we both share and need to use here - etc... Anything that the unit needs that we both share use of would be split 50/50. besides our own personal food and items, we buy for ourselves.
For full transparency, I currently have a roommate. However, once their lease concludes and they will most likely move out after their 60 days' notice this upcoming 2026 summer, I will have their private bedroom and bathroom cleaned/painted if wanted, just have to let me know if you like the current color or want something else, this will become available in my spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo starting this upcoming end of Aug/ September 1st, 2026 or after. This is a newer luxury unit, and is exceptionally clean, bug free, modern, nicely updated, and features a fireplace in the living room. The bedroom can be furnished or unfurnished, depending on your preference—just let me know what you need or if you plan on bringing in your own bedroom furniture.
The bedroom offers ample closet space for all your belongings, measuring approximately 12'x12' ft. fits up to a queen size bed or smaller or twin/double if wanting more space in the room., with a 3'x9' ft. closet, and sufficient storage for all your bathroom essentials.
Included in your monthly rent is use of the whole unit minus my private bedroom area, gas stove, an in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, cold-water, trash, and building maintenance, Condo -HOA and Taxes.
I am seeking a non-smoking drug using roommate. our lifestyles must match in-order to be able to live together as roommates, If you have company over and they smoke, it must be done outside, as smoking is not permitted indoors or within the unit. This will be stated in the lease agreement, and any violation will result in a 60-day notice to vacate the premises. I will not tolerate living with someone who is disrespectful and only considers their own needs. I do not want our unit smelling like cigarettes or marijuana.
Street parking is readily available in front of the building on both sides, ensuring you'll find a spot at night upon returning from work. It's also relatively easy to find parking in the morning or evening. During business hours, it may be more challenging, but free side street parking is also an option. The building's parking lot is reserved for businesses and condo units with permits; unpermitted vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense.
Gas and electric bills are split 50/50. Water, trash, and building maintenance are included in your monthly rent.
Wi-Fi internet is available for $70.00 per month; if you choose to use it, your cost would be an additional $35.00 on top of your rent.
(Please note:) I do not have any control over the cost of Wi-Fi/bills or taxes/HOA etc., this price may change at any given time during your stay if the price goes up, you will be notified and you will have the option to pay your share or get your own Wi-Fi service set up for yourself, if you don't wish to share mine., as far as other costs, if you feel that you don't want to share the costs 50/50, you will have the option to move and give your 60 days' notice to vacate the unit with ample notice during the spring time, summer or fall, winter move-ins or outs are not permitted.
Again...Your monthly rent would be $1325.00, plus any shared expenses in the common areas, split evenly between us, like Gas Bill/Electric Bill, Wifi, Air Filters and anything else we share or both benefit from while living together here.
A bit about myself: I boast a credit score over 804+ and always pay my bills punctually. I'm looking to share my additional condo space with the right individual. As a busy professional immersed in my business, family, and friends, I won't be around enough to form close bonds or friendships. However, I do seek a roommate with whom I can coexist peacefully, engaging in casual conversation without drama. I value giving and receiving personal space and respect, regardless of race, age, or gender—be it straight, bisexual, or gay—as long as mutual respect for each other's space and privacy is maintained. Applicants with a criminal history or irresponsible bill payment habits need not apply. Again...This is a smoke-free unit, no smokers, please.
Background checks are mandatory for all potential renters, as I will also reside in the condo. This is not a sublet; we will be sharing my home and splitting the monthly bills.
A minimum credit score of 450-620+ is required. If yours is lower, please be prepared to explain the circumstances. The application fee is $25 for the background check, refundable if you pass it only, payable via Zelle or PayPal after our face-to-face meeting if we agree to live together. Viewings are available by appointment in the mornings or afternoons before 3 PM on weekdays. Evenings and weekends are difficult for me to show the unit unless I am not working, and I would need to ask my current roommate to step out while you view the place for 10 minutes or so if they are home. Given my busy schedule, weekends might be best, but I can also show the unit during the week. The lease term is one year or more. If you wish to renew after 10 months, you will receive a new lease to review, or you can give me your 60 days' notice if you do not wish to renew. Rent is $1325 per month, with an equivalent amount required as a security deposit before move-in. The bedroom and bathroom will be vacated this summer 2026, potentially earlier, once the current roommate departs.
