We are a national online retailer specializing in swimming pools, both commercial and residential, and we aim to expand our customer base.
Position Overview
We seek enthusiastic Telemarketers to drive sales through cold calling and responding to inquiries in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve influencing potential and existing customers to purchase our products and services. The ideal candidate is friendly, persuasive, and quick to understand customer needs, presenting tailored solutions. Patience and composure are essential for handling complaints and aggressive interactions. Experience in the swimming pool industry is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Cold call potential customers from a provided directory to sell products or solicit donations.
- Respond to incoming calls from prospective customers.
- Use scripts to convey product features, pricing, and benefits.
- Ask questions to identify customer needs.
- Persuade customers by demonstrating how our products meet their requirements.
- Accurately record customer information in our system.
- Address complaints to maintain the company’s reputation.
- Exceed sales quotas and facilitate future sales.
- Maintain records of calls and sales, noting useful information.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a telemarketer or in a similar sales/customer service role.
- Track record of meeting sales quotas over the phone.
- Familiarity with CRM software and telephone systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in English.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle complaints.
- Persistent and results-oriented.
- Patient and resilient in the face of rejection.
- Experience in the swimming pool industry.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
