The job responsibilities will include [but are not limited to]:
• Regular cleaning of salon throughout the day; between each client all surfaces should be wiped down including color bar, stations, mirrors, shampoo bowl and sweeping hair off floor
• Assist the Stylists and Colorists with their day-to-day needs in coloring, styling, and cutting hair; assistant should be comfortable shampooing client’s hair and providing conditioning treatments (training provided)
• Complete opening and closing checklists; ensure salon is clean and ready for clients each day
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor with clients at all times; abide by company dress code
Qualifications
• Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with customers, coworkers and management
• Physical fitness due to the nature of the job that requires being on your feet most of the day, physical stamina is required
Job Type: Part-time, 24+ hours per week.
Hours: We are open Tuesday through Saturday (preferred availability Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)
