This is an older laptop (somewhere between five to 10 years old) that was used for a family member's work-from-home needs. He used it mainly for virtual meetings, watching videos and a work-from-home finance program.
It was passed down to me after a motherboard DIY project gone wrong with my last laptop. This laptop still works pretty well, but it's just entirely too slow for work apps I need (ex. ClickUp). If you're looking to do the basics like check your email, use Google Workspace and Internet browse, this is a good laptop for you. But it still has Windows 10 and is not compatible with Windows 11. It was my go-to for Microsoft Teams, Zoom and DialPad, but it can be on the slow slide if too many web tabs are open. (I'm notorious for creating web tab groups.) It is also not ideal for downloading a lot of apps!
I got a year's worth of use out of it, but I need to use programs that tend to use lots of animation and are heavily reliant on Javascript that just don't mesh well with this laptop. The computer has been reset back to factory settings and Cortana is waiting to greet you. The computer battery has been replaced and is only a couple of months old. It charges fairly quickly and can be used battery-only for a couple hours. There is a CD/DVD drive as well. The actual computer is in "almost new" physically condition and is reasonably lightweight (about 3.5 pounds).
ATTENTION NO-SHOWS:
First come, first buy. ABSOLUTELY NO HOLDS FOR MORE THAN 24 HOURS.
I have a long block list from no-shows and "is it still available" Craigslist users who have zero interest in buying Craigslist products. Please DO NOT be this person. I've met a lot of great people who don't do this, but just a heads up for those who do.
When the computer is not available, I will absolutely delete it immediately. So yes, it's "still available." Price is not negotiable.
