THIS IS A ONE YEAR LONG CONTRACT WITH OPPORTUNITY FOR FURTHER TRAINING & ADVANCEMENT. AVAILABLE FOR IMMEDIATE PLACEMENT FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATE.
The successful candidate/s will receive training and then will be responsible for providing end-user support and maintenance within the organizations desktop computing environment both in person and/or via remote control access. The successful candidate shall be a QUICK LEARNER, POSSESS A POSITIVE ATTITUDE and BE ABLE TO MULTI TASK. This position is perfect for the candidate looking to learn Help Desk/ Desktop skills and break into IT field.
·Experience with Windows XP and Windows 7 operating systems.
·Experience with MS Office Application to include MS Outlook (versions XP- 2010).
·Excellent troubleshooting skills required.
·Ability to diagnose and correct program and system failures/malfunctions efficiently and accurately.
·Excellent Customer Service and communication skills.
·Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
·Must be able to perform under pressure without incident giving GREAT customer service.
·Must be dependable with regards to timeliness and attendance.
·Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
·Must be able to pass a TSA background check.
·Experience with HP printer troubleshooting and repair.
Recommended Certifications, but not mandatory:
·CompTIA A+ Certification
·Network + Certification
·A Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) Certification
o Installing , Configuring, and Administering Windows XP / Windows 7 Professional
o Supporting Users and Troubleshooting a Windows XP / Windows 7 OS
o Supporting Users and Troubleshooting Desktop Applications on a Windows XP / Windows 7 OS
