JOHNSON BENCH FURNACES these are rugged, versatile, USA made, the standard of industry since 1901. These versatile furnaces are used for heat treating, tempering, case hardening, forging, and soft metal melting. Excellent tool for knife / blade maker. They are equipped with powerful JOHNSON patented AUTO-BLAST burners ( each with shut-off valve and pilot light ) . The furnaces are made of heavy cast iron and the fireboxes are lined with high quality refractory . The shelf at the rear of the firebox forms a rest and protects points of interest.
