Position Summary
We are seeking an Experienced Property Management Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of residential and multifamily properties. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in property management maintenance, strong technical skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to residents and property owners.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on residential and multifamily properties.
Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, drywall, flooring, and general building issues.
Complete resident service requests promptly and professionally.
Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare vacant units for occupancy, including repairs, painting, cleaning coordination, and appliance installation.
Maintain common areas, amenities, grounds, and building exteriors to company standards.
Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
Coordinate and oversee outside vendors and contractors when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of work orders, maintenance activities, inventory, and supplies.
Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3–5 years of property management maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily or residential communities.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently.
Experience with property management software and mobile work-order systems preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills with a resident-focused approach.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple work orders effectively.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
EPA Certification, HVAC certification, or other related trade certifications strongly preferred.
