E3 Contracting LLC is expanding our professional network and looking for a skilled, detail-oriented carpenter for ongoing residential projects across Chicago and nearby suburbs.
We are seeking individuals with strong experience in doors, windows, trim, and finish carpentry who take pride in precision, craftsmanship, and reliability.
Position Details:
– Type: 1099 Subcontractor (Project-Based)
– Compensation: Paid per project, equivalent to $40–$50/hour depending on experience, quality, and speed
– Work Type: Door and window installation, trim, light framing, and finish carpentry
– Location: Chicago and surrounding suburbs
– Schedule: Flexible – steady work for dependable professionals
Requirements:
– Minimum 5 years of professional carpentry experience (doors, windows, and trim)
– Must have own power saws (miter, circular, jigsaw) and essential hand tools for accurate, clean cuts
– Must have nail guns, compressor, drill/impact set, measuring tools, and safety gear
– Must have reliable vehicle and phone
– Ability to work independently or lead small crews
– Must maintain clean, organized, and detailed work habits
– Photos of recent work required
– References required (2–3 past clients, GCs, or companies)
