RESPONSABILITIES:
š Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
š Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
š Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
š Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
š Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
š Collect and verify delivery instructions
š Report defects, accidents or violations
REQUIREMENTS:
ā No SAP program
ā No moving or driving violations in the last 3 years
ā No accidents in the last 5 years
ā Must pass pre-employment drug screen
ā Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
ā Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
ā Valid truck driving license and OTR experience for at least 2 years
