What You’ll Be Responsible For
Your role centers on operating a tractor‑trailer safely, efficiently, and professionally. Each trip begins and ends with thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure your equipment is compliant and road‑ready. Throughout your run, you’ll maintain accurate logs for hours, mileage, and maintenance, staying aligned with all federal and state regulations. Clear communication with dispatch and customers keeps every delivery on schedule, and your ability to manage routes effectively helps you optimize time while always putting safety first.
What You Need to Qualify
To step into this role, you’ll need a CDL Class A along with Hazmat and Doubles-Triples endorsements, which are required for the freight you’ll be handling. You must be able to pass a background check and drug screening, and you should be comfortable using ELD systems as part of your daily workflow. Drivers who can commit to 10‑days or two‑weeks OTR cycles fit perfectly into the rhythm of these lanes.
