PARTICIPANTS ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN A RESEARCH STUDY ON EXPERIENCES WHILE UNDER DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS ELECTRONIC MONITORING.
The study will address how individuals experience electronic surveillance and support themselves and their households while being monitored. We will ask about the impacts of electronic monitoring on employment, housing and relationships as well as the sentencing process.
Eligibility: English-speaking individuals 18 to 65 who have been under electronic monitoring related to a criminal offense in the past three years in the greater Chicago area.
Your responses are confidential and we will destroy any information that identifies you following the interview. Your name will never be used in any report.
