I'm searching for old terminal recordings from Greyhound station terminals - and their players.
In the Chicagoland area, stations might include Roosevelt St., Randolph St., Clinton Station, or many others throughout the region, long gone, where lobbies had overhead announcements. A lot of the acetates degraded while stored in boxes. Generic-looking ones may have a city name and date penciled on the label. Greyhound also had a publishing label for their training materials, and these were vinyl. Station announcements could be on 7", 12", or even 16".
If you know of any senior citizens who retired from Greyhound years ago, or if you yourself happen to have some, please drop me a line.
