wikiHow is looking for writers with access to popular technology to work with us as content creators. This is a remote position with flexible hours, but we do ask that writers work 15-25 hours a week.
To be successful in this role, you should be:
-Someone with a passion for tech. You're interested in - and experienced with - a wide variety of tech-related topics like apps, gadgets, interfaces, programs, systems, and tools
-Someone who enjoys researching, writing, editing, evaluating, and organizing content. You should be able to write clearly and engagingly about a wide variety of tech topics in a conversational tone
-A gadget person. You own or have access to a variety of tech devices of different types and operating systems that you can use to research and test your articles. It's essential to have access to an iOS or Android device, as well as a desktop computer or laptop. Bonus points for having a PlayStation 4 or a Nintendo Switch
-Open to constructive feedback and willing to revise your work
-Willing to learn about and work with material outside of your personal experience
-Detail-oriented. You should be able to identify the smallest of errors and explain why they're wrong
-Self-motivated and able to work independently
-Able to devote 15-25 hours a week to this part-time job
If you're hired for this position, you will be responsible for completing a set of 10-15 tech-related articles as assigned, then revise them as needed. Individual articles typically take about an hour to complete.
