Antique Wine/Fruit Press
$850

This is the largest size of the single press baskets made by Red Cross Manufacturing (Bluffton, Indiana), the number 3 size. The press is in original condition and great shape showing the original detailed stenciling on the press. The press is complete and with press rack, press plate and press basket. The press crank freely moves and has full upward and downward crank motion. This has always been stored in a clean and dry environment.

This wine/fruit press has been in our family for years and it is time to move to your family. The rumored story is that it dates back to a 1912 World’s Fair in Chicago (we have nothing to prove this story). In preparation for our move, we have to downsize, and this piece won’t be one that is moving with us. I grew up calling this a wine press, as that is likely the only thing my grandparents and family members ever used it for, but this can easily be used for cider and juices.

Foot Print of the Press: 46.75" tall (not including the crank) x 26 inches deep x 26.75 inches wide.
Press Basket: 14 inches tall x 17 inches in diameter
