I have several eBikes. The A2B Octave is my favorite. My A2B Octave had a problem. I figured that the problem was either the throttle or the controller, and I ordered one of each from a US supplier. The supplier said on their website that they were not selling anything listed on the website, but I managed to convince them to sell to me anyway. Shortly thereafter, the website was taken down. As it turned out, the problem with my Octave was the throttle. I would keep this controller, or switch module, as a spare, but it actually is different from what is in my particular Octave. If you can use it, make sure it is exactly what you require. These parts are rare. The Octave is a wonderful ebike. It is well worth repairing. I am willing to ship this, as you are unlikely to live nearby.
Note: The throttle I received had a 4 contact end connector on it, which was needed for my Octave, but it did not work until I repositioned 2 of the contact wires. And then I found it so difficult to put the wire through the frame (with the end connector on it), that I cut the wire and spliced it outside the frame. Troubleshooting ebike repairs can be time-consuming and difficult. It would be easy to give up on the repair. I bought my ebike "new, old stock", from an Ebay seller. It was without a battery. I bought a generic battery and changed the end connector. The Octave worked beautifully for 200 miles, then failed, and that is why I went to the trouble to repair it. I learned a lot in the process, and have repaired ebikes since. My efforts to repair the Octave were well worthwhile.
