This would make a great Halloween authentic costume if not for its original nuptial purpose. This beautiful vintage, princess wedding dress was WORN ONCE for a marriage in 1956 that lasted for 62 years before one's passing. It fits like a Women's 2 in today's sizing and is an off-white, ivory champagne color.
This two-piece set includes a short-sleeve dress with off-the-shoulder style, and a long-sleeve crop top that accentuates the Basque waistline. The arm sleeves taper and are accentuated with 6 hooks buttons at a the bottom. There's a long bow on the back bottom of the long-sleeve top with 4 top hook buttons. The dress has a hidden back center zipper with bow cover at the top. The skirt is ultra full and only needs reinforcement sewing on part of the hem on the backside. The skirt can fit a crinoline underneath, if desired.
The embossed embroidery on the thick fabric, princess style dress is so pretty--must see in person! It has light makeup blush on the neckline. Otherwise, it is in EXCELLENT CONDITION despite its age! It has been stored in a closet all these years from a clean, smoke- and pet-free home.
