Vintage Sony TA-5650 Integrated Amplifier – Original Owner – Gold Era of Sony
For sale is my Sony TA-5650 Integrated Stereo Amplifier, one of the legendary VFET amps from the golden era of Sony hi-fi. Known for its rich, natural sound and outstanding build quality, this is a true collector’s piece.
A VFET amp is a solid-state amplifier that uses VFETs (Vertical Field-Effect Transistors), rare devices designed to behave like vacuum tubes. They deliver a warm, natural, tube-like sound with low distortion. Sony and Yamaha made them in the 1970s, and they’re now prized by audiophiles and collectors.
Condition: Very good vintage condition.
History: I am the original owner. Comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
Note: As with most vintage gear, it might benefit from a pots cleaning to get the controls perfectly smooth and noise-free.
