Key Responsibilities:
Greeting & Seating: Welcoming guests as they arrive, estimating wait times, and leading them to their tables.
Reservation Management: Taking, confirming, and organizing reservations.
Customer Service: Answering questions, managing customer concerns, and ensuring a positive atmosphere.
Table Management: Observing table status (clean, occupied, dirty) and coordinating with servers for efficient seating.
Administrative Tasks: Handling phone calls, managing to-go orders, and sometimes processing payments.
Front-of-House Maintenance: Keeping the entrance, waiting area, and menus clean and organized.
Skills Needed:
Friendly demeanor and strong communication.
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
Good organizational skills for managing seating charts and waitlists.
Familiarity with reservation software and POS systems.
