This antique furniture piece is a RARE FIND in PRISTINE CONDITION! 19th Century well-made carved wooden side chair featuring a beautiful hand-woven cane seat and front turned legs with cute little ball feet. A classic American Federalist silhouette with its elegantly shaped back splat and turned scrolled top back design. The original, cane weaving curved square seat is in perfect condition--a must see considering its age! Made from stunning curly/tiger/fiddleback/birds-eye Maple for unique color grain patterns that give a 3-dimensional effect when light hits it from different angles.

Dimensions: 34"H x 18"W x 20" Depth, seat height 18.5".

This well-made, sturdy and strong chair sat at the end of a hallway for many years at my grandmother's clean, smoke- and pet-free home.
