We are conducting a usability study to identify improvement opportunities, design strengths, and unanticipated use errors regarding the use of a new Auto Injector and Pen Injector and we are looking for participants who would be interested in taking part. You will receive a cash amount of $100 for your time.
Participation is completely voluntary for anyone between the ages of 12-65+. No experience with auto/pen injectors is necessary and all information will be kept confidential. To participate you must be available for less than 2 hours on November 22 or November 23. If you feel you won’t be available any of these days and still want to participate, please still reach out, as we will have another session in January 2026. Sessions will be held at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, IL.
If you choose to participate, you will perform user scenarios to complete the full process of using the auto/pen injector on a simulated pad, answer some knowledge questions about the tasks you completed, and fill out some questionnaires. You will NOT be asked to inject yourself or anyone else. The study is estimated to take approximately 60 to 90 minutes.
