Kenmore. It has a 10 1/4 X 10 1/2" square tray for the food. There is no turntable. Outside dimensions are 17" long X 10 1/2 X 10 1/2". More compact than most. 120V, 7.5A, 900W. Excellent working condition. Quiet operation. Quality construction. Better made than newer microwaves. Truly, newer microwaves seem to be made cheaply--probably in order to be price competitive. Or, maybe the manufacturers are simply designing them to fail shortly after the warranty expires. And you cannot trust the Brand Name. I had a General Electric microwave that locked up. The food was cooked, but the door would not open. What can you do? Buy an earlier microwave. They are better made. This Kenmore microwave is very well made and very reliable. I have never had a problem with it. You can expect it to last a long time.
More notes on manufacturers designing their microwaves to fail: The latest trend I have noticed is that the door-opening mechanism is being designed to fail. I currently am using a $450 microwave I bought because I liked the built-in GRILL feature. I can make a small, individual portion pizza in the microwave w/o having to turn on the big gas oven. This is especially convenient in the summer, when I do not want the heat from the oven. However, I am noticing that the door-opening mechanism is beginning to fail. So, w/o compromising safety, the manufacturers have managed to find a way to cause their microwaves to fail way too early. Check your microwave. Do you oftentimes have to push the door-opening lever multiple times or push it extra hard and fast to open the door? Have you had similar experiences with microwaves? If so, I would like to hear from you.
