I got this kit from a fantastic session horn player in LA who kept it as part of his home studio. Since then it has lived in a temperature and humidity controlled environment and has only been used for rehearsals and a few studio sessions where we needed a better set than what they had.

This is honestly one of the best kits I've ever heard. I would keep it, but it needs a little TLC (new heads, cleaning, missing a couple small things) and between traveling and tours and other work I just never have time to do it. I'm a guitar player and it's a crime this kit isn't being played to it's potential.

Rack toms measure 13" and 14" with an 18" floor tom (that has more sustain than any floor tom I've ever heard it's ridiculous) and a 22" kick. I'm also including a ton of vintage hardware (all built to survive the apocalypse) and a couple heads I've been meaning to put on but never got to.

The original owner did take off the hoop that secured the resonant head on the kick, the legs off the kick drum, and the double tom mount. Not really sure why, but none of those things are really consequential and it's probably a couple hundred in parts. I don't really use the reso head on the kick anyway (I prefer it open with a blanket inside) and it's very stable on a rug so I've never really noticed these things missing, but if you wanted to replace them it would be super cheap and take an hour or two. I also leant the kick pedal to a friend on tour and still haven't gotten it back, so I'm selling without that. Again, not things that I think are super important or hard to replace, but just want to be transparent.

Normally these kits sell from $2000-3000, but I think because it needs a little love and includes some extra stuff this is a fair price. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out and I'll do my best to answer them. It breaks my heart to sell this kit, but I just can't justify letting it sit in storage another year and I really hope it goes to a loving home.
