Pair of early-1980s Seymour Duncan hand-wound, pre-logo humbuckers. Mismatched models, but they’ve been together for decades and work extremely well as a set.
Neck pickup:
APH-1 NG — hand-wound by Gloria Ocompo (G stamp). This is the neck pickup commonly associated with Slash’s “Appetite for Destruction” tone.
Bridge pickup:
59B-M — early hand-wound ’59 bridge by Martha Cameron (M stamp).
These are original early Duncan hand-wounds and do not come up often. I’ve only seen a handful of comparable examples surface over the years.
They were installed in my SG for many years and performed flawlessly. The guitar eventually failed; the pickups did not.
Primarily interested in trades, but will consider cash if appropriate. Trade value roughly $800, depending on what’s offered.
