We are a local fire and security alarm company based in Glenview looking for a part-time office assistant to support daily operations. This role is ideal for someone organized, friendly on the phone, and looking for steady part-time work.
What you’ll do:
• Answer phones and take messages professionally
• Collect and process customer payments
• Schedule service calls, inspections, and installations
• Provide general office support (filing, scanning, organizing)
What we’ll train you on (future growth):
• Customer follow-ups for annual inspections
• Insurance renewals and vendor coordination
• Permits and other administrative tasks
What we’re looking for:
• Good phone presence and communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge (email, scheduling software, etc.)
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Prior office experience is helpful but not required – we’ll train the right person
Hours & Pay:
• Part-time, weekdays (about 15–20 hrs/week to start)
• Flexible schedule within business hours
• Pay range: $18 – $22 per hour, depending on experience
