We are looking to find a new home for our 4 year old giant Flemish rabbit. His name is “Big Boy” because he is a very big boy (probably around 15 pounds! We got him from a breeder in Wisconsin when he was just a few months old. He is almost 4 years old now and is neutered. He has never had any other health issues. He eats around 1/2 cup of rabbit food each day with an unlimited supply of timothy hay. We also give him a daily salad of greens, fruits, and veggies. He currently free roams in my son’s bedroom with a large cage that serves as his litter box and this is also where we feed him. He is fully litter box trained. He drinks from a filtered water fountain or a bowl (we have never tried a bottle). He is a pretty easy going bunny but occasionally thumps with his back paw. He does shed, so we usually vacuum 2x week. His hair is medium, but does not need lots of grooming/brushing. We occasionally trim and file his nails by wrapping him in a blanket to keep him still. He is a very brave bunny and has been around cats before. When the weather is nice, we take him outside on a harness for a fresh grass snack. He will take treats from your hand and greet you when you pet him. We will send all his supplies with him to his new home.
