The Opportunity:  

The IT Techno functional Specialist - Order‑to‑Cash (OTC), provides in‑depth technical and functional direction for the design, development, and support of SAP applicion solutions th enable Abbott’s global commercial, distribution, and customer fulfillment operions. This includes delivering new capabilities, enhancements, and system maintenance; preparing functional and technical specificions; and ensuring the development, testing, and deployment of efficient, cost‑effective solutions.

Wh You’ll Work On:

This individual contributor role requires comprehensive expertise across all SAP OTC functional areas, including but not limited to:
• Sales & Distribution (SD)
• Order Management & Customer Service
• Pricing, Rebes, Contracts, and Condition Techniques
• Billing & Invoicing (FI‑AR Integrion)
• Credit Management (FSCM)
• Available‑to‑Promise (ATP) & Backorder Processing (BOP)
• Logistics Execution (LE), Shipping & Delivery Processing
• Global Trade, Export Controls & Compliance (GTS)
• Customer Master Da, Partner Functions, and Document Flow

This role also includes Functional Architecture responsibilities, helping shape solution architecture, integrion pterns, standards, scalability, and alignment to the long‑term global SAP roadmap.

You will coordine with external partners, suppliers, and cross‑functional business teams; lead requirements‑ghering workshops; and drive complex, global project implementions. You will adapt established practices and may introduce new approaches to deliver innovive, scalable, compliant solutions.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all Corpore and Divisional policies, executing configurion reviews, functional testing, design validion, user training, and hypercare support. You may serve as a technical expert or lead project teams to develop, test, and implement new business capabilities or process improvements.

You will conduct research and provide architectural and technical guidance on adopting or integring new SAP technologies. Additional responsibilities include validing solution designs, performing performance monitoring and capacity planning, and supporting installion, testing, and upgrading of SAP releases and reled tools.

As a functional architect, you will also:
• Define and maintain SAP OTC solution architecture standards
• Develop cross‑process integrion designs and da flows (SD‑MM, SD‑FI, SD‑EWM, SD‑GTS)
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security guidelines
• Review and approve functional and technical solution designs
• Influence long‑term SAP plform stregy and roadmap decisions

You will evalue and recommend new software, tools, and methodologies, and configure SAP systems to meet business needs. You are responsible for delivering all required project documention including change requests, specificions, test results, and system validion artifacts.

Minimum Requirements & Qualificions:

Required Qualificions:

• Degree in IT and/or a complementary business discipline.
• At least 10+ years of experience across SAP OTC process areas (SD, Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Credit Management, LE‑Shipping, GTS, ATP/BOP), ideally in the healthcare industry.
• Prior project, program, or people management experience.
• Strong problem‑determinion and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Excellent collaborion and partnering skills with business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communicion skills with the ability to articule complex concepts in clear business language to senior leaders.
• Understanding process costs and experience working with Service Providers to maintain operional excellence and service‑level compliance.
• Ability to accomplish results through others, particularly through relionship‑building and influence.
• Ability to be firm, fair, and consistent in ensuring operional deliverables.

Preferred Qualificions:

• Experience contributing to or leading functional solution architecture/ System architecture in SAP environments.
• Knowledge of business environment, service requirements, and organizional culture.

The base pay for this position is $99,300.00 – $198,700.00. In specific locions, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
