We are a fast-growing logistics carrier operating a new model fleet of trucks and trailers. We are looking for a high-performing Fleet Coordinator to oversee daily fleet operations, ensure compliance, maximize asset performance, and support our drivers with top-tier communication and problem-solving.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
-Oversee day-to-day fleet operations , equipment planning and maintenance.
-Monitor fleet performance, truck locations, driver schedules, and maintenance requirements
-Ensure all trucks and trailers remain in safe, DOT-compliant working condition
-Manage preventative maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs with shops and vendors
-Track equipment inspections, repair logs and DVIRs.
-Communicate with drivers daily to resolve issues, delays, and breakdowns
-Maintain fleet files, equipment records, and compliance documents
-Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate settlements, repairs, and expenses
-Assist with onboarding new drivers, assigning equipment, and ensuring readiness
-Support safety initiatives and enforce company policies
-Optimize fleet utilization to reduce downtime and maximize profitability
🔹 Required Qualifications
-2+ years of experience in trucking, dispatch, fleet management, or operations
-Strong understanding of DOT/FMCSA rules and equipment compliance
-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
-Strong organizational skills for tracking equipment, repairs, and documentation
