This 8x magnifier has a 1-1/2" diameter at the top, 1-7/8" diameter at the base. Mainly used in the graphic art and photographic industry when looking at film, negatives, fingerprints, examining surface coatings, etc. Clear acrylic base allows for illumination of surface and easy viewing. Professional quality, authentic, original ROKUNAR Lupe, not a cheap imitation, made in Spain. These original and authentic lupes sell for $45.00 to $100.00 or more on websites, at auction, at camera shops, etc., making this a real bargain. The original box still has the store tag on it, purchased at the historic "Central Camera" store in Chicago. Box bottom reads "c.1989 Aetna Optix, Inc. Island Park, NY, Made in Spain".
