Hoover Model 29 ,serial # A5219700 ,with attachments included ,allegedly the Holy Grail of Hoover vacuums ,this was originally purchased brand new by my mother (now deceased) in the 1950’s ,she left it to me ,it’s been in my storage unit for way too long ,and I no longer want it ,a little past history on this vacuum : I do remember she had it fixed a couple of times by a vacuum repair shop in Villa Park ,Illinois ,and I also remember they once replaced the on/off switch ,and the power cord ,all other repairs I don’t recall what was done ,probably just some typical routine belt replacements ,it does run/work (kinda loud) ,unfortunately the headlight doesn’t work ,may just be a bulb ,don’t know ? it has some wear from being over 70 years old ,my mother used this vacuum every week for over thirty years ,I used it for around four years ,till I bought a house with all tile and hardwood floors ,it then went into storage ,the handle is showing the most wear ,it’s worn thru the maroon paint ,and is showing bare metal ,as pictured ,the extension hose ,and all the attachments/organizer box are original and included in this auction ,also ,may I add ,the extension hose does connect properly as designed ,all accessories and/or attachments are in original excellent condition ,they were all purchased at the same time as when the vacuum cleaner was purchased ,not later ,the Crevice Tool is heavily worn out and scratched up ,see attached pictures for a close up ,the Hoover bag is pretty washed out ,but 100% original from the 1950’s (never replaced) ,email me with any questions ,thanks .I’m also including in this auction ,a bag of three genuine paper Hoover replacement bags purchased in 1991 .$425.00 obo
