The Price Tower in Bartlesville, Oklahoma is an innovative building that changed the horizon of the Oklahoma prairie and the world of architecture. The tower was constructed for the H.C. Price Company as its world headquarters. The Price Tower is Frank Lloyd Wright's only realized skyscraper. Wright took his inspiration for the cantilevered design from a tree. In fact, the Price Tower has been called the tree that escaped the crowded forest. Wright wrote this book, The Story of the Tower, documenting the Price Tower and its construction.

Signed and inscribed Copy of 'The Story of the Tower' by Frank Lloyd Wright - 1956
Signed and inscribed to first page of book 'To David with Love FLW'.
I honestly did not see this inscription until after I purchased the book in a large lot that I am mostly gifting.
Unfortunately, It looks like someone wrote OVER the inscription in pencil, then it was erased.
While inscribe copies sell for $2,500+ (also in better condition), I cannot ask that much.
I am offering an opportunity to own a piece of history, however.
This would make an absolutely wonderful gift for the collector, fan, student, or as an addition to your own collection.
The book over all is in good condition. The cover with several rips, tears, losses, and sun fading. See pics.
Provenance: Thomas S. Monaghan, Domino's Private Collection.
I've priced with consideration to the condition issues plus the inscription having been massed with.
Item is safely stored (Sealed in a smoke free environment.
