We are a products-based company seeking an experienced outsourced social media marketing specialist to manage and grow our online presence. This is a flexible, remote, contract position—ideal for someone who can take ownership of our social channels without the need for an in-house role.
Responsibilities:
* Develop a monthly social media content calendar focused on product features, benefits, and promotions
* Create engaging posts, graphics, product spotlights, and short-form videos
* Schedule consistent content across platforms (Facebook, Linkedin, etc.)
* Edit or enhance product photos and videos (content provided by company or taken by contractor)
* Write compelling, sales-driven captions that highlight product value
* Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries
* Plan and support product launches, seasonal promotions, and ad campaigns
* Track key performance metrics: reach, engagement, clicks, conversions
* Provide monthly analytics reports with insights and recommendations
* Stay on top of social trends and suggest new ideas to increase visibility
* Collaborate with the business owner for approvals, updates, and alignment on brand voice
* Ensure consistent branding and professional presentation across all channels
Requirements:
* Proven experience managing social media for product-based businesses
* Strong content creation skills (graphics, captions, basic video editing)
* Knowledge of current trends and platform best practices
