These are likely from the 1960s as JBL made these for many years. They have 10" active woofers coupled with a 10" passive radiator to achieve the bass of a 12" woofer, but also able to cover the midrange very well. The tweeters are LE20 model used in many speaker of that day. All drivers are working. Crossovers is the LX4-2 which are very well regarded. The woofers have the original surround which are Lansalloy - an early version of foam / rubber. Grills have had new grill fabric and the gold trim is from a pair of L66 speakers that brings out the gold in the grill fabric. I have a pair or traditional original L77 grills if you prefer. The cabinets are about 7 of 10 and American Walnut veneer. They are clean on all sides. These were meant to be horizontal on book shelves but most stand them upright. The grill badges are reproductions matching the originals very well and can be rotated depending on speaker orientation. Serial numbers: 101960 &101977 - a close match.
