True Vintage 1930s Original & Signed Art Deco "Royalchrome" Brand Torchiere Floor Lamp.
This is a substantial, heavy lamp measuring approximately 69 inches tall. The top shade measures approximately 15 inches wide.
The lamp retains its original wiring and plug. The lamp does work as is, however there is a slice in the cord which would make it unsafe to use as is. The cord could easily be safely spliced back together or rewired with modern wiring if you choose.
The lamp originally was made to use a huge "Mogul" base light bulb. I have included an adapter so you can use any standard E26 base light bulb.
While the base has some obvious pitting and rust, the pole and the shade portion of the lamp, while not perfect, is in very nice vintage condition. The Chrome is still very bright and shiny and could most likely be cleaned up a bit better using 0000 grade steel wool.
An absolutely gorgeous, timeless & original 1930s Art Deco lamp by the lamp maker Royalchrome.
