Split-baluster divided beveled edges mirror by Carver's Guild features a gold colored gilt frame. The corners feature rosette carvings. The top, side and bottom carvings feature grapes, leaves and vines. The turned and blocked balustrade design first appeared in the late 18th Century and gained popularity with many variations during the 19th Century. The balustrade mirror was used with both Federal and Empire furnishings.
It is 39.25" long by 19.75" wide.
The backing has a plywood back with hanging hooks. The paper on the back details hanging and cleaning instructions.
