Eco-scape Architectural Design LLC is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Foreman
Pay: $22–$27 per hour (based on experience)
Our growing boutique landscape design and construction firm is seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Foreman to join our team this year. We specialize in high-end residential properties throughout Chicago’s North Shore and pride ourselves on exceptional craftsmanship, professionalism, and client engagement. This is a leadership role for someone who takes ownership of their work, values quality, and enjoys working with a small, skilled crew.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a maintenance crew of 1–2 team members
Maintain a tight daily and weekly schedule across multiple properties
Drive company truck and trailer safely and responsibly
Oversee and maintain all equipment, including trucks, trailers, and small engines
Perform basic small engine repair and routine equipment maintenance
Ensure all properties are thoroughly serviced, inspected, and meet company standards
Maintain detailed checklists and ensure consistency across all sites
Apply knowledge of plants, fertilization, pruning, and seasonal care
Uphold a high level of professionalism when interacting with clients and team members
Qualifications:
Proven experience in landscape maintenance, preferably in a foreman or lead role
Strong knowledge of plants, fertilization programs, and landscape best practices
Experience with small engine repair and equipment maintenance
Understanding of basic landscape design principles
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to lead by example and take full responsibility for crew, equipment, and results
