Job Type: Full-Time / Contract
We are seeking a skilled Acoustical Ceiling Installer to join our growing construction team in Chicago. You will be responsible for measuring, laying out, and installing commercial suspended ceiling grid systems and acoustic ceiling tiles.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret project blueprints and ceiling layout specifications.
Suspend main runners, cross tees, and support wires from the structural framework.
Cut and install ceiling tiles for fixtures and wall borders to ensure a clean, level finish.
Inspect and level work using laser or water levels.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and aerial lifts safely.
Qualifications
prior commercial acoustical ceiling installation and demolition experience.
Own standard trade tools and reliable transportation.
Valid Driver's License.
Physical ability to climb ladders, operate on scaffolding/stilts, and lift up to \(75\) lbs.
OSHA safety certification is highly preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
