Selling a Kala S-U-B U-Bass solid body 4-string bass in gloss sunburst, with Kala U-Bass padded gig bag and leather strap.

This is the older/discontinued S-U-B solid body U-Bass model. Compact short-scale bass / ukulele bass format, tuned like a standard bass, with fretted neck, black hardware, active electronics with volume and EQ controls, and U-Bass-style polyurethane strings.

This bass belonged to my late father, who was a hobbyist musician and bass player. It has been stored indoors and is being sold as part of his instrument collection.

Condition is good overall. There are normal signs of use, light surface marks/scuffs, and normal wear on the glossy finish and hardware. No major cosmetic issues that I’m aware of. Please see photos. Available to inspect/test at pickup.

This specific solid-body model is discontinued and highly sought after by players who prefer it over the newer acoustic-electric versions.
