One Ludwig Drum and Timpani Stool
One Ludwig #201 Speed King Bass Drum Pedal

The Bass Drum features the original Ludwig #782C "Clipper Shell Mount Tom Holder, also known as a Rail Mount. Also features the original Ludwig #1305C Shell Mount Folding Spurs, and #1372C Shell Mount Cymbal Holder with the Telescoping L-Arm. It currently has a Power Stroke head on the batter side, and a standard Remo Bass Drum head on the Reso head.
The Ludwig #908P Jazz Festival Snare Drum is completely intact, not missing any parts. It features the Ludwig Acousti-Perfect shell design, and Resa-Cote (white) interior finish, Original P-83 Snare Strainer, 8 "gleaming tension casings, triple flanged hoops, Ludwig Keystone Basdge #498787, and is dated January 26th, 1967 inside the shell. The Jazz Festival alone has sold recently for $6,000, so I know my pricing is in the correct market range.
The Oyster Blue Pearl is very dark, almost as original, because these have not been exposed to light, so no fading. With or without stage lights, it can easily pass for Oyster Black Pearl. There are no dents or blemishes in the finish on any of the drums that I could see. There are no holes in the shells. All the Ludwig Badges have clearly readable serial numbers, as detailed above.
The chrome shows very little aging or wear, as these have been stored in thermally padded cases in a heated area for many years. It has been mostly a studio set when it's been out of the cases at all. Some of the stands may show more wear than the drums, because stands are stored in bulk in a case, where they rub against each other. Please refer to the photos, as they reveal more than I can describe here. Sold without the cases. The set is currently locked in safe storage, and would take a LOT of work to unpack and bring it out. Therefore, I'm limited on providing a customized photo collection. However I'm happy to provide authenticating photos for proof of ownership.
All fibre cases are included, except the bass drum case. I will leave any shipping to the buyer. I STRONGLY suggest a local pickup in Schaumburg, Illinois, USA, as many of these vintage drums are being ruined in transit, no matter how well they are packed. I will work with you to select any method of shipping you prefer - AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE.
I can't imagine you have many questions, but if you do, contact me. I have tried to be as accurate as possible in my description, but I am human. I trust you will love this set as I have for the last 56 years.
Thanks for looking!
