Office Assistant - Customer Service (Near Rosemont)

303 SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION is looking to fill a full time office support staff position. We take pride in providing excellent customer service to our clients and need someone with a pleasant and professional tone of voice. You must have multi-tasking skills and be able to talk on the telephone while entering information into the computer.

This job requires:
- Answering telephone calls from clients and school route drivers
- Receiving, responding to and filing email requests for transportation
- Providing general assistance to school department dispatcher
- Writing up order requests on paper for school dispatchers to route trips
- Staying calm in stressful moments
- Flexibility to stay past scheduled departure time

Required skills / traits:
-Have a great telephone voice
-Speak to customers in a courteous manner
-Arrive to work on time
-Reliable – We need to be able to depend on you to work when scheduled
-Pay attention to details
-Excellent communication skills with supervisors, drivers, and coworkers
-Accurately type while talking on the phone
-Be polite and well mannered
-Accept criticism and feedback
-Be able to multitask

Typical Schedule:
Monday – Friday 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Must be flexible to stay until 6:30 PM from time to time
and work on occasional Saturday or Sundays as school semesters change

Additional Skills
Bilingual in Spanish preferred

$14.00 per hour - time and a half over 40 hours
Paid holidays off
