What You’ll Do
Roof Safety Anchor Installers help our teams work safely at heights by installing rooftop safety anchors and assisting with structural repairs that keep wildlife out of homes.
You’ll report to our Schaumburg office each morning, drive a company vehicle, use company equipment, and receive dispatch assignments throughout the day—similar to the structure of a first‑responder role.
Who Thrives in This Role
This position is ideal for someone who is:
Comfortable on ladders and roofs
Skilled with hand tools
Physically fit and able to load/unload ladders multiple times per day
Safety‑minded with a clean driving record
Handy, intelligent, and eager to learn
Rock climbers often excel in this role due to their comfort with heights and safety awareness. If you’re a climber without construction experience, we still encourage you to apply—we provide extensive training.
No wildlife experience is required.
Schedule & Hours
We operate 7 days a week, but you will work 5 days per week
Rotating days off; some weekends required
Standard hours: 6:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Longer days during busy seasons (spring–fall)
Summer hours may reach 50+ hours/week; winter averages closer to 40
Training & Development
40+ hours of paid, hands‑on training during your first 4–5 weeks
Apprenticeship‑style learning with experienced team members
Long‑term career path with low turnover and strong team support
Requirements
Valid Illinois driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass our insurance carrier’s DMV check
Ability to pass the Chicago Public Schools background check (criteria available at the link you provided)
