Maintenance Supervisor
$70,000 to $75,000/annually
Position Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing facility maintenance operations across three warehouse locations (all within a mile from each other) while leading a team of two maintenance technicians. This hands-on role combines leadership, preventive maintenance planning, facility repairs, project management, and occasional maintenance support for company ownership's residential properties.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Maintenance & Facility Operations
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of two maintenance technicians.
• Prioritize maintenance requests, assign work, conduct performance reviews, and address employee disciplinary matters when necessary.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a preventive maintenance program.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across three warehouse facilities.
• Replace lighting fixtures and bulbs as needed.
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems and warehouse heating equipment.
• Complete painting, drywall repairs, and general building upkeep.
• Install and modify warehouse racks, shelving, and equipment.
• Relocate and rewire electrical workstations and benches.
• Support facility improvement projects, including sustainability initiatives and equipment upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and train team members on safe work practices.
• Remove snow from entrances and walkways and apply salt during winter weather.
• Respond to ongoing maintenance projects and facility improvement needs.
• Prioritize safety above all else and train your team on safety procedures.
Qualifications
• Valid driver's license required.
• 3–5 years of warehouse or facility maintenance experience.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills. Spanish is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with general building maintenance, repairs, and facility projects.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
