Responsibilities:
- Repair and restore damaged vehicles to their original condition
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, frame straightening, and panel replacement
- Weld and solder metal components as needed
- Replace or repair damaged sheet metal parts
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete repairs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and methods
- Proficiency in using power tools and other equipment necessary for auto body repairs
- Familiarity with auto estimating software and processes
- Ability to perform auto painting and color matching
- Knowledge of auto restoration techniques is a plus
- Experience with welding and soldering metal components
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and address mechanical issues related to body repairs
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
- Previous experience working in a dealership or collision repair center is preferred
