In need of a shop assistant for custom cabinetry fabrication and installation. Some trade experience is great but not required. You must have your own vehicle and insurance. It would be great if you have basic hand tools and know how to use them a little bit. Hammer, Tape measure, Cordless Drill and any other small tools you can easily bring with you. You must be willing and able to receive instructions and be willing to carry them out without argument.

You must have a phone capable of giving and receiving texts and emails.

You will be helping with cutting, sanding , organizing, shop cleanup, assembly etc. You will learn skills that you can use.

Some lifting of up to 50 pounds by yourself.

This job is offered to a Lady or Man on a trial basis at first. It is part time . Preferably non smokers. The hours are flexible but things usually get started early as is typical in the building trades. The shop closes at 3 pm every day. No weekends. Your boss would be extremely skilled but very patient with people interested in learning.

This is a 1099 / subcontractor position.
