RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Refuel and clean vehicle
• Report road traffic incidents to the dispatcher
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventive maintenance
• Document and log work/rest periods and hours of service spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
QUALIFICATIONS:
• CDL-A License
• Tractor-trailer driving experience of at least one year is preferred
• Comply with Department of Transportation requirements and regulations.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are a plus
