Location: Lake Zurich / Chicago area – willing to travel 300-500 miles in Midwest (WI, IN, MI, OH, etc.)
Budget: Up to $20,000 (financing pre-approved via personal or classic car lender – can close quickly)
Seeking a clean, rust-free example:
- No/minimal rust (underbody, floors, rockers, rear subframe mounts, trunk – underbody photos REQUIRED!)
- Clean title (no salvage/rebuilt), straight chassis, no major accidents
- Preferably manual transmission, moderate/low miles (<150k ideal), good maintenance history
- Stock or lightly modified
Serious buyer – will do pre-purchase inspection (PPI) at a BMW specialist.
