Note: Garmin does not include much in the way of instructions in their retail package, but detailed instructions are available online at Garmin.com. Garmin explains global positioning background and other details in its instruction manual for its GPSMap 76, an older model. Also, the retail box, on one side, is marked with an inventory control number
